Here you can find out a little more about the people behind BlackWyrm Games.
Also shown below are some of the projects and contracts-for-hire completed by BlackWyrm and
its founders. Though some of the works predate the formation of the company, all represent
a significant contribution by current BlackWyrm personnel and are indicative of the skill set
available.

personal web site.

The following are projects and contracts completed by BlackWyrm as a whole, or which
involved the effort of more than one founder.
|
|
The Algernon Files
Our first wholly in-house production, this 128 page hardcover is a collection of allies
and adversaries for use with the Mutants and Masterminds game by
Green Ronin Publishing.

|
Women of the Woods
This book combined art by
Larry Elmore
with short stories written about the characters depicted. BlackWyrm Games
was contracted to provide the d20 system statistics for the characters. Given the art and the fiction we
provided a brief synopsis of the character in game terms. You can see a rough overview of a chapter
here.
The final section (beneath the rune stones) contains the text and statistics provided by BlackWyrm.

|
Larry Elmore: New Beginnings
Tintagel Media took a collection of Elmore's art and put it onto
collectible trading cards. The back of each card briefly described the character in the given piece of art
and directed the buyer to a website where full d20 statistics, and further text, could be found.
It was our job to supply the text and the game stats, which were created using the D&D 3.5 rule set.
|
|
One Thousand Faces: Villains & Scoundrels
This project involved the creation several dozen non-player characters of various races, classes, and levels.
The write-ups included history and personality notes as well as game stats.
These were all created as D&D 3.0 characters for use with Citizen Game's
proprietary world. BlackWyrm founders Dave Mattingly and Ryan Wolfe designed and developed many of the
characters while Dave was also responsible for editing the work.
